Gelato Artisan

We are dedicated to crafting the greatest culinary experiences at Greatest Of All Treats. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Gelato Artisan to join our culinary team.

The Gelato Artisan will work closely with our Head Chef and Product Innovation team to prepare and execute a variety of products, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every creation. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, producing, and assembling various gelato products according to recipes and guidelines provided by the Production Head.
• Ensuring that every product meets our standards of taste and presentation through rigorous quality assurance checks.
• Demonstrating solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals and best practices, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Familiarizing yourself with our tools and ingredients, utilizing them to their fullest potential and contributing fresh ideas to the table for ongoing product innovation.
• Assisting in inventory and stock keeping, helping to maintain smooth operations and collaborating seamlessly with our kitchen crew to bring our visions to life.

Requirements for the role include:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment; a culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
• Bringing energy and passion to the role, being willing to immerse yourself fully in our kitchen culture, and valuing auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency.
• A willingness to wear multiple hats, take on diverse roles, and adapt to changing priorities in a startup environment.
• Collaboration and teamwork skills, dedication and attention to detail, and a creative genius who thrives on pushing the boundaries of culinary innovation.
• Great communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities, and accountability in creating exceptional products and experiences for our customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
