Recruiting a Skilled Therapist for Speech Disorders Evaluation and Treatment

We are seeking an experienced and skilled speech therapist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, therapy planning, and effective communication with parents and team members.

  • Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders using standardized tools and clinical assessments is a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will administer appropriate standardized tests and evaluation tools, preparing detailed and timely assessment reports for each child.
  • An individualized intervention plan and monthly goal plans will be designed by the candidate.
  • Maintaining consistent parental engagement and building trust for continued therapy participation is crucial.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred; freshers with strong clinical training are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A child-centric, empathetic, and collaborative approach to therapy is necessary.
About the Role

This role involves working closely with children who require speech, language, and communication support. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to these children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
  • To design and implement effective intervention plans to support children with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
  • To maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress made by children.
  • To work effectively with parents and carers to ensure their involvement in the therapy process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant qualification in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A child-centric, empathetic, and collaborative approach to therapy.
