About the Role

This position plays a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections with potential learners, guiding them through their academic pursuits abroad.

Responsibilities
  • Establish initial contact with prospective leads, assess their interest and needs, and nurture genuine enthusiasm for upGrad's programs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with assigned leads, facilitating open communication and trust-building exercises.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve minimum 300 minutes of talk time per day over calls.
  • Schedule a minimum of 5 Video Counselling sessions daily.
  • Maintain a connection rate of at least 80% with leads each day.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly revenue targets.
Requirements
  1. Hold a minimum of 1 year of experience in Edtech-sales, preferably with a focus on Study Abroad.
  2. Ensure a strong educational background, with a graduation degree being the minimum requirement.
  3. Demonstrate adaptability by working effectively on a 6-day workweek schedule.
  4. Possess prior experience as an individual contributor.
  5. Show a proven track record of meeting targets in previous companies.
Essential Skills
  • Fluency in English language, coupled with exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Able to listen actively, build trust, and approach situations with empathy and patience.
  • Skilled in persuasion techniques, with the ability to convince learners to attend Video Counselling sessions.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM management systems.
