Job Description:

  • We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying scalable software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS/Koa).
  • Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure backend services.
  • Integrating with third-party services and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code and ensuring code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Leading code reviews and providing technical guidance to team members.
  • Participating in architectural design and decision-making.
  • Ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Working closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Implementing best practices in security, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Monitoring and maintaining applications post-deployment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable software applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with related technologies and frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa, NestJS).
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Proficient in using version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest) is a plus.
