Valuation Expert Senior Associate

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate to join our Forensic and Valuation Services Group.

About the Role

This senior-level position involves working on a variety of assignments, including taking substantial responsibility in performing equity valuations or complex security valuations (stock options, warrants, convertible debt, other complex securities/derivatives, etc.) for financial reporting, tax compliance, transaction advisory, and other purposes.

You will be responsible for reviewing various agreements, documents, research papers, and market research with the intent of capturing salient points to be used for modeling purposes and clearly communicating the key drivers to others.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of equity valuation methods, such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing. You will also need to have 3+ years of experience in performing CFI valuations for U.S companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing various agreements, documents, research papers, and market research with the intent of capturing salient points to be used for modeling purposes
  • Communicating the key drivers to others
  • Preparing and reviewing valuation analyses for tax, financial reporting, and advisory purposes
  • Completing data entry of tax returns and financial statements into Excel models
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or similar quantitative discipline
  • Understanding of equity valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing
  • 3+ years of experience in performing CFI valuations for U.S companies
