Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Rail System Group. As a key member of our Global Excellence Centres (GEC), you will play a crucial role in delivering projects that meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing project delivery, collaborating with lead regions and stakeholders, and liaising with other disciplines within the MEP Project Team.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Proficient in mechanical engineering design fundamentals: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, Tunnel Ventilation Systems (TVS), LTHW & Chill water systems, compressed air system, gas piping, daylighting analysis, building envelop design, over-heating risk assessment, Part-L compliance.
  • Working knowledge in AUTOCAD, REVIT or AECOsim and NAVISWORKS.
  • Proficient in using the following engineering software: IES-VE, HEAVACOM (pipe/duct pressure drop calculation), HAP, SKETCHUP & Bluebeam.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Discipline from a recognized University.
  • At least 15 years of experience in Mechanical Discipline (TVS & HVAC).
  • A strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
