Exciting Opportunity in Structural Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at SBM Offshore. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing offshore structures that meet international codes and industry standards.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design, with experience in detail engineering of offshore oil and gas facilities. You will work closely with our discipline lead and other internal teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant designs.

  • Develop structural designs and calculations reports for offshore projects
  • Collaborate with internal disciplines and external parties to ensure compliance with international codes and industry standards
  • Prioritize assigned activities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
  • Proficiency in Sesam GeniE/SACS software (mandatory) and FEMAP/STAAD-Pro (optional)
