Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and integrity.

  • Data Engineering Expertise: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift, and Glue.
  • Amazon Quicksight and Data Visualization: Utilize Amazon Quicksight for data visualization and analytics, creating interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to organizational requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, product managers, and IT teams, to understand data needs and provide tailored solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Knowledge: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on designing dashboards with Amazon Quicksight, advanced knowledge of Python and Linux shell scripting, and proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with AWS Services: Good to have exposure to PowerBI/Tableau for different business personas and experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift, Glue).
  • Analytics and Visualization: Expertise in Amazon Quicksight for data visualization and analytics, ability to develop dashboards and reports used by senior leadership.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
