Job Title: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer - IT Infrastructure

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud DevOps Automation Expert to lead the implementation of cloud-based infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments using various tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and management.
  • Leverage AWS services to design and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Utilize Ansible to automate configuration management, software deployment, and orchestration.
  • Write and maintain Python scripts for automation tasks, integrating various tools and services.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure and applications, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and project teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
  • Evaluate and enhance security compliance of the infrastructure and deployment processes.

Requirements:

  • Total 5+ years of programming experience, with at least 3 years in Python.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Container deployments experience using helm.
  • Application deployment and configuration using ansible.
  • Managing AWS infrastructure using terraform.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud architecture and management.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
  • Knowledge of Puppet.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent preferred (or any engineering field considered).
  • Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications.
  • Good coding skills in major languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, highly flexible environments against both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Possession of excellent communication and customer service skills.
