Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot RESTful web services with JSON as the primary data format.
  • Ensure seamless integration between various systems.
  • Monitor, maintain and optimize existing web services for reliability, scalability and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
  • Debug and resolve integration issues.
  • Document web service architecture and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining web services and API integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in JSON and experience working with XML is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware or ESB tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
  • Good programming skills in languages like Java, Node.js, Python or similar.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with version control tools (Git).
  • Good understanding of cloud services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
