Lead Tax Professional

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to spearhead our team and ensure accurate, compliant tax reporting for annuity products.

This role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in U.S. tax regulations to drive process improvements and support audits.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience in tax reporting/financial operations, preferably in the insurance/annuity industry.

A strong background in leadership and proficiency in Excel and tax systems is required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 15–20 associates
  • Oversee tax reporting for annuity transactions (premiums, payouts, interest, etc.)
  • Ensure IRS compliance (e.g., 1099-R filings)
  • Manage tax treatment of death benefits & beneficiary payouts
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations
  • Proven leadership in a regulated environment
  • CPA preferred, Excel & tax systems proficiency required
