Job Title: Senior Litigation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Manager to join our Intellectual Property team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a wide range of Intellectual Property matters within the department, including product clearance, patent filing and prosecution, patent litigation, and licensing/due diligence. They will also work closely with Portfolio, R&D scientists, Regulatory Affairs, drafting patents, freedom to operate reports, infringement and validity analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

In addition, they will monitor and evaluate third-party scientific and patent publications, provide IP-related inputs to support legal agreements and negotiations, partner with other legal and business functions to provide strategic advice and strategy in connection with strategic M&A transactions, licensing agreements, research collaborations, adverse proceedings, and litigation activities.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, and at least 13+ years of experience in a reputable Global Pharmaceutical company with team handling skills.

A strong track record of experience in product IP clearances, patent drafting and prosecution, and ancillary areas in a pharmaceutical organization is essential. Litigation, litigation support, and licensing experience are highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who can fluently communicate in English, both written and spoken, and has a deep understanding of regulatory exclusivity and interplay with IP exclusiveness.

Key Qualifications:
  • PhD or Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
