PHP Developer Team Manager

We are currently looking for a seasoned leader to oversee the development of our web applications. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and modern development practices.

Key qualifications include:

Technical Expertise :

  • - Proficiency in building scalable applications with PHP Laravel
  • - Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and SQL query writing using MySQL
  • - Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • - Excellent version control skills, including branching, merging, and repository management using Git

Leadership & Methodologies :

  • - Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams
  • - Strong expertise in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • - Ability to plan and manage sprints effectively

Soft Skills :

  • - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • - Strong interpersonal and team management skills

Our ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in leading development teams and contributing to the growth of software products. We are seeking someone who can lead by example, drive innovation, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers to deliver high-quality software products
  • - Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications using Laravel, PHP, and modern development tools
  • - Architect and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and internal systems
  • - Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, and DevOps to ensure successful and timely delivery of features and projects
  • - Drive Agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups
  • - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement best practices
  • - Optimize database performance and design using MySQL
  • - Design and manage applications with a microservices architecture, and work with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
  • - Oversee version control and repository management using Git, including branching, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution
  • - Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions
