Medical Data Annotation Specialist for Ophthalmology

We are seeking an ophthalmologist with clinical expertise to accurately annotate and label medical data, primarily images and structured clinical data related to eye health.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data annotation of ophthalmic data such as fundus images, OCT scans, and other visual data to identify anatomical structures and disease markers.
  • Consistent application of standardized grading protocols to ensure accurate and consistent labeling.
  • Participation in calibration sessions and reviews to maintain annotation consistency and quality.
  • Collaboration with AI engineers and data scientists to ensure the clinical validity of guidelines and algorithms.
  • Validation of AI model outputs for clinical accuracy and safety.
  • Creation or review of materials for AI/ML algorithms to provide accurate patient education and support.
  • Compliance with patient privacy and data security policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Ophthalmologist (MBBS) with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience.
  • Extensive clinical knowledge and understanding of various eye conditions.
  • Experience in clinical data review and familiarity with medical record documentation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accurate annotation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
