Software Validation Expert

As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our graphics driver validation process. Your expertise in software validation will enable us to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

This involves being hands-on in creating comprehensive validation plans, test cases, and use cases that cover all features enabled on the graphics driver software stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute validation plans to ensure 100% functional feature and non-functional (stress, soak scenarios) coverage.
  • Derive test cases and use cases from requirements to ensure complete understanding of upcoming AMD Platforms, SOCs, IPs, tools, and programming libraries.
  • Interact closely with stakeholders to ensure customer and user experience is given the highest priority.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Linux Graphics Driver Validation Expertise across Multimedia, Graphics APIs, Power Management, IO, Ethernet.
  • Experience with creating modular and maintainable test and use cases adhering to best practices.
  • Familiarity with source control systems like GitHub, Perforce, and SVN.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of commercial software test experience required.
