About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team as a Performance Optimization Specialist. This is a long-term, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a well-established company and contribute to the development of high-quality software applications.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Kotlin-based Android applications, focusing on performance and responsiveness. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to integrate features seamlessly. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing code and applications, troubleshooting and debugging, testing, and staying up-to-date with Kotlin and Android updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Kotlin - 5+ years of experience
  • Strong command of Kotlin for Android development, including language features and standard library use
  • Android SDK Knowledge - Solid understanding of Android SDK, lifecycle management, and Android design principles
  • UI/UX Principles - Experience with custom views, layouts, and animations to deliver visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces
  • Data Handling - Familiarity with Room, SQLite, and other data persistence solutions for Android
  • Networking - Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, JSON parsing, JWT/JWS, JSON parsing, Websocket and network libraries such as Retrofit
  • App Architecture Patterns - Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture for structuring Android apps
  • Version Control - Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,000,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
