The ideal candidate will oversee payroll accounting processes, ensuring accurate accounting of bonus, pension, severance, and stock-based compensation areas.
- Regular review of the balance sheet to highlight and resolve potential exposures, explaining variances month-over-month.
- Support integration of payroll accounting for newly acquired entities and divestitures.
- Collaborate with IT and other functions to understand changes in systems or processes and their impact on accounting.
- Provide financial guidance and support to general accounting teams on queries related to managed accounting processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting professional qualification (CA or CMA).
- 7+ years of post-qualification experience, 3 years at manager level.
- Experience in finance accounting and preferred global payroll systems knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP and associated reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in change management and process improvement.
- Ability to work and influence senior leadership.
