At the heart of our team, we are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our development family. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features, maintaining and enhancing existing ones, testing and deploying code, creating back-end components, integrating user-facing elements, designing user interactions on web pages, ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices, and ensuring performance of applications.

Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in web-based software development is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and the ability to write clean, efficient Ruby code is required.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github is necessary.
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST architecture is a must.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework is required.
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL) is a plus.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Linux distributions like Ubuntu is necessary.
A Plus If You Also Have
  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React is a bonus.
  • Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs is a bonus.
