Job Title: Finance and Accounting Professional

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up validation checklists for processes and reviewing them continuously for completeness, accuracy, and control.

Responsibilities include ensuring financial statements adhere to accounting policies and any changes thereof. The candidate must review journal entries independently, validate, authorize, and properly record them in the appropriate accounting period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the month close and reporting process is well-established and documented.
  • Hold accountability for timeliness and accuracy of core deliverables and identify opportunities to reduce the month-end cycle.
  • Define, document, update, and communicate roles and responsibilities in the month closing and reporting process.

Requirements:

  • Commerce Degree from an Institute of repute with Chartered Accountancy qualification.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Finance and Accounts domain from FMCG/Manufacturing or mix of GBS plus FMCG/manufacturing.
  • Excellent understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Preferred skills include good knowledge of SAP, SAP BPC, BO, BI, RPA, MS Office - Excel, Word, Power Point, and strong domain expertise, analytical skills, and logical reasoning with good leadership capabilities.
