About the Role:

Senior Medical Writers are highly skilled professionals responsible for developing high-quality medical content across various therapeutic areas. This exciting opportunity calls for a talented individual with a strong scientific background and exceptional communication skills to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate, engaging medical content including articles, abstracts, posters, and educational materials.
  • Liaise with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, authors, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with current developments in scientific research and maintain awareness of best practices in medical communications.
  • Collaborate with client directors to develop innovative medical communications initiatives and execute effective strategies in the digital space.
  • Ensure all content adheres to client requirements, SOPs, style guides, and company policies.
  • Provide intellectual input across document types and contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.
  • Share best practices and client preferences to enhance skill development within the medical communications team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • Hold a PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Possess a clear, concise, scientific writing style with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Show the ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Have basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Be proficient in literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Display very good working knowledge of MS Office.
