Role Summary:

This role involves financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to provide crucial insights and support to leadership. Key responsibilities include managing P&L, invoicing, and contract compliance to optimize financial performance.

  • Analyze financial data to inform decision-making with regional heads.
  • Support regional finance controllers as needed.
  • Timely invoicing, P&L validation (rate revision and new development), and governance.
  • Liaison with Legal teams for follow-ups on expired contracts.
  • Manage requirements from regions and countries for various financial inputs.
  • Analyze profitability of sites (low-margin and loss-making sites), tracking and explaining variances on Budget and Forecast.
  • Undertake Annual Budget activity and quarterly forecast activities.
  • Validate rate revisions and new P&L and obtain timely approval from country president and CFO.
  • Prepare presentations for regional reviews and support monthly finance reviews.
  • Financial modeling, planning, and analysis.
  • Prepare P&L statements (profit and loss and cash flow, balance sheet from scratch).
  • Key pricing models and commercial terms for new and existing clients.
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
  • Track food costs, inventory levels, RR reporting, DA/MW impact, labor productivity, and progress on initiatives like I-Promise, Waste-watch, and DRIVE.
  • Participate in audits and work on Conners.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same industry or 3-4 years of experience in FP&A outside the industry.
  • Business acumen – understanding financial impacts, healthcare terminologies, retail cash business flow.
  • Financial expertise – understanding of financial parameters and their impact on business.
  • Analyze changing trends and understand financial implications.
  • Basic understanding of labor law (DA/MW), GST, and facilities management business.
  • Understand requirements from reporting managers or APAC regional teams and provide timely and accurate replies.
