Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, handle daily accounting operations, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or equivalent software.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries: receipts, payments, sales, purchases, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable & receivable.
  • Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in coordination with Certified Accountants.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports for management.
  • Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and MIS reporting.
  • Support documentation for property/land transactions, agreements, and legal filings as required.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
  • 2–15 years of accounting experience in a real estate or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting tools.
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
