Job Description:

The role of a site reliability engineer is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and scalability of applications. This involves designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that are reliable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for guiding others in building robust system designs, collaborating with software engineers to develop deployment strategies, and implementing infrastructure as code for applications and platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience. Proficiency in site reliability culture and principles is also essential, along with familiarity with implementing site reliability within an application or platform.

Additionally, you should have proficient knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline. Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, and others is necessary. Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like ECS, Kubernetes, and Docker is also required.
