Seeking a Freelance Embedded Engineering Cybersecurity Expert to leverage their expertise in cybersecurity and embedded systems. We are looking for an experienced professional who can work closely with our runtime team in industrial automation.The primary focus will be on the cybersecurity aspects of architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of runtime codebase.You will collaborate with our runtime Cybersecurity Advisor/Coach to ensure each release of the runtime SDK meets internal and external cybersecurity standards, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.Cybersecurity Expertise
  • Provide guidance in architecting, designing, and threat model mentoring to members during development cycle.
  • Perform cybersecurity code review for pull requests as part of the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) process.
Evaluation and Resolution
  • Evaluate, track, and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues and related technical debt in 3rd party packages.
  • Management and use of tools for static and dynamic code analysis (Coverity, SQuORE, Halgrind, Valgrind, CppCheck) and Software Composition Analysis (Black Duck Binary Analysis, Black Duck Hub).
Qualimetry Data Management
  • Ensure qualimetry data for all significant branches is current and accessible for use by management.
  • Setup regular/scheduled and on-demand scans to timely detect abnormalities.
