The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our electrical testing team. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations, as well as maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in regular toolbox talks to discuss daily tasks and special requirements.
- Daily supervision to ensure adherence to WIS and HIRA guidelines during FRT and FAT.
- Ensure compliance with PTW for switching ON power supply trolleys.
- Actively intervene to identify unsafe acts and conditions during testing.
- Calibrate, maintain, and upgrade testing equipment.
- Ensure all trolleys and equipment used in testing areas are in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with EHS points on shopfloor as per guidelines.
- Support technicians with technical queries under the guidance of FAT Leads.
- Instill a culture of safe working practices within the testing team.
- Develop testing skills of testing team members.
- Sound knowledge of IEC and IS routine testing of MV switchgear panels.
- Participation in internal and external EHS audits.
- Provide product and process training to testing engineers.
- Daily monitoring of planned testing activities.
- Handling subordinate's topics like attendance, expense claims, daily output, behavior, etc.
- Ensure readiness of panels before factory routine test.
- Maintain records of process documents like PTW, UA/UC, calibration, and maintenance of test trolleys.
- Communicate feedback and lessons learnt to Assembly & Testing engineers.
- Identify and drive digitalization topics within area of responsibility to enhance and optimize processes.
