Senior Director of Food Regulatory Affairs

Job Opportunity:
Our organization seeks a seasoned leader to spearhead activities in food regulatory affairs. The ideal candidate will drive policy initiatives, establish connections with government departments, engage with industry stakeholders, generate revenue, and orchestrate impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze food regulations, trade regulations, and their impact on the food industry.
- Negotiate with government bodies (FSSAI, other departments and ministries) on policy matters.
- Liaise with food business stakeholders, organizations, startups, and corporate leaders.
- Plan and execute events such as Summits, Conferences, Industry roundtables, Policy Dialogues, Task Force Meetings, Committee Meetings, Delegations, etc.
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Indian food regulations and policy, advocacy, trade, etc.
- Prior experience in food regulatory affairs, policy, advocacy, program organization, and industry-government connections is preferred.
Requirements:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.Tech.) / Master's degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.). A degree in food technology is desirable.
- 7-15 years of work experience in a similar field is required.
