Software Engineer for Scalable Applications

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using Python.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system design principles, S.O.L.I.D., and SDLC best practices. Experience with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, NoSQL), caching systems (Redis), and data warehouses (Snowflake) is also required.

We are looking for a team player who can collaborate with product, design, and QA teams in an Agile development environment. Deploying and optimizing services on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with CI/CD pipelines is a must.

  • Design and Develop: SaaS applications using Python (Django, FastAPI)
  • Build Robust APIs: RESTful APIs with authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, token management)
  • Apply System Design Principles: S.O.L.I.D., and SDLC best practices to build scalable applications
  • Work with Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL, NoSQL, caching systems (Redis), and data warehouses (Snowflake)
  • Implement Webhooks: automation pipelines, and integrations with third-party platforms
  • Ensure High Performance: scalability, and reliability across distributed systems
About the Role

This role involves working on a cross-platform service that requires expertise in designing and developing robust applications. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of our Agile development team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, or equivalent, and hands-on experience with Python, Django DRF, Django, and FastAPI. Proven experience building REST APIs, SaaS applications, and cross-platform services is essential.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Django DRF, Django, and FastAPI
  • Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design
  • Proven experience building REST APIs, SaaS applications, and cross-platform services
  • Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), Redis, and Snowflake
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, authentication, authorization, and token management
  • Understanding of rate limiting, caching, and distributed system design
  • Experience deploying applications on AWS or Azure, with Docker/Kubernetes exposure
Nice to Have
  • Experience with analytics and reporting pipelines
  • Exposure to automation/scraping tools
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of software security best practices
