About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing workforce staffing services, employee relations (HOH transportation) categories/subcategories, and projects of increased complexity. You will operate with significant autonomy and discretion, influencing internal and external teams to drive business outcomes.
In this role, you will define and own capabilities, procurement strategies, and innovation roadmaps for the category and team. You will work closely with workforce management, employee relations, and sustainable relations teams, as well as WHS teams, to explore vendors and technologies that support conveyance and automation projects.
You will lead in creating industry-benchmarked procurement processes and work side-by-side with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate key spend, performance, and compliance data to inform supplier or category decisions;
- Utilize market segment knowledge to identify trends and mitigate potential market-related issues;
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, working with cross-functional teams to ensure execution and effective communication;
- BUILD mechanisms to ensure suppliers' costs align with established goals, continually seeking ways to reduce spending;
- Determine which suppliers should be positioned for long-term contracts based on their overall value to the business;
- Establish supplier diversity/sourcing targets and expand current supplier selection options accordingly;
- Negotiate commercials, contract terms, and implementation plans with suppliers;
- Ensure compliance documents and contract management with suppliers by collaborating with legal, business, operations, and tax teams;
- Operate with significant autonomy and discretion;
- Promote the Procurement team internally and externally;
We estimate the salary for this position to be around ₹ 25 lakhs per annum, depending on location and experience.
