Job Summary:

Risk Resources LLP is seeking an experienced EKS Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Deploy EKS Clusters: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing and deploying EKS clusters that meet the organization's cloud strategy requirements.
  • Implement and Manage Kubernetes Resources: The candidate will implement and manage Kubernetes resources, including pods, services, and deployments.
  • Automate Deployment, Scaling, and Management of Containerized Applications: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist will automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Create and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines for EKS: The candidate will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for EKS, ensuring seamless deployment and integration of applications.
  • Optimize EKS Infrastructure for Cost and Performance: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist will optimize the EKS infrastructure for cost and performance, ensuring the organization's cloud strategy is aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot EKS Clusters and Related Services: The candidate will monitor and troubleshoot EKS clusters and related services, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist will collaborate with development teams to support EKS-based applications, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Ensure Security Best Practices: The candidate will ensure security best practices are followed in the EKS environment, ensuring the organization's data and applications are protected.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Relevant Field: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Managing EKS or Kubernetes Clusters: The candidate must have 3+ years of experience in managing EKS or Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proficiency in Scripting Languages: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist must be proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms: The candidate must have experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Solid Understanding of Networking Principles: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist must have a solid understanding of networking principles and practices.
  • Experience with Docker and Containerization: The candidate must have experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Knowledge of Monitoring Tools and Best Practices: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist must have knowledge of monitoring tools and best practices.
  • Experience in Implementing CI/CD Pipelines: The candidate must have experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Equivalent Certification: The EKS Infrastructure Specialist must have an AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
