School of Commerce at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Marketing. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a prestigious institution and contribute to the growth and development of our students.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and passionate marketing professional to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in marketing, as well as contributing to the development of our academic programs.
Responsibilities and RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Marketing or a related field with 55% marks from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Additionally, they must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
OR
The candidate must have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016. They must also have a minimum of two SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Ph.D. preferred with entry-level 2 years experience
- Presentation of at least two papers based on their Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency
