Job Title: Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Leader to spearhead our testing efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in manual testing processes and methodologies.
  • A thorough understanding of test management and defect management processes is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and experience with testing tools such as HP ALM and JIRA is highly desirable.

About the Role:

This position involves leading a team of testers and ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.

  • Mentorship and guidance will be provided to junior team members to help them grow professionally.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing test scenarios, test cases, and preparing suitable test data.
  • Leading the testing effort and ensuring that all testing activities are completed on time.
  • Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Thorough understanding of test management and defect management processes.
  • Experience with Agile delivery models and testing tools such as HP ALM and JIRA.
