Production Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mill, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production shifts in-charge in bar mill and coordinate with electrical & mechanical maintenance departments to minimize production delays.
  • Plan with HODs of sections to ensure smooth changeovers, pass changes, breakdowns, and shutdowns.
  • Implement actions related to process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure achievement of shift targets with desired quality and participate in production meetings as required.
  • Coordinate with Reheating furnace operators and maintain set parameters for furnace operation across different temperature ranges.
  • Carry out roll squaring activities to ensure fin and tolerance-free final products.
  • Responsible for overall safety & housekeeping at the mill area and maintain daily MIS reports, shift reports, and Excel sheets.
  • Manage manpower handling, material shifting, and equipment erection (billet charging to finishing areas).
  • Work on inline furnaces, conduct wire rod inspections, and perform machine maintenance works (preventive maintenance).
  • Report analysis and rejection analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of the mill by performing overall activities and achieving rated mill speed to increase productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, management)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production supervision or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
