We are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer with extensive experience to join our team. This role will play a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining internal platforms and tools that enable software development teams to work efficiently and effectively.

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining development processes across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing application observability, ensuring robust monitoring and diagnostics capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, resilient, and efficient platforms that support strategic goals and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Design and oversee implementation of Windows Server solutions including Configuration Manager (SCCM), Group Policy, and CIS-based security hardening
  • Define and enforce best practices for patch management, server software deployment, and disk space remediation
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs
  • Ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and internal security standards
  • Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing risks and inefficiencies
  • Drive automation and process improvements to reduce toil and increase reliability
  • Contribute to infrastructure roadmap planning and capacity forecasting
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies

Requirements:

\
  • 7+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering, including SCCM, Active Directory, and GPO
  • Proficient in Ansible automation, especially in writing playbooks and roles for patching, reporting, and orchestration
  • Solid understanding of the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle and remediation planning
  • Experience in administering Group policy and Active Directory for server management, access control, and compliance enforcement
  • Proficiency in scripting (Powershell, YAML) for automation tasks and system integration
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and AMI Baking/image lifecycle management
  • Strong problem-solving, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields
  • Advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure Infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge in scripting like Python
  • Advanced knowledge in IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Advanced knowledge in designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar
  • Good knowledge of version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket or Team Foundation Server
  • Adept in System & IT operation – Windows and Linux OS administration
  • Understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies), Microsoft Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
