Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing scalable cloud infrastructure on public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop SLA, SLO, SLI of services within the Business Unit.
  • Involve in the entire process of Development, Production System Operation, including system maintenance, monitoring, automation, backend operation, ensuring high availability, regular application release, troubleshooting, middleware performance tuning, and collaborating with functional and technical team members to provide high-quality services.
  • Involve in automating routine manual production/non-production operations using technologies like Ansible, Chef, etc. As the key person, propose and implement automation to increase productivity and quality.
  • Continuously improve system performance and reliability.
  • Have a service ownership mindset and be able to proactively react to production issues.
  • Propose new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve the development, testing, and production operations processes.
Requirements:
  • Must-have qualifications include over 8 years of experience in SRE, handling high-traffic production systems independently, troubleshooting (middleware, infrastructure), automation, regular operation, and implementing Site Reliability Engineering principles regarding performance, reliability, monitoring, and alerting in production environments.
  • Experience in managing large-scale services and designing and constructing public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD/CT pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and VCS tools like Git and SVN.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux-based system operation and extensive skills in Linux commands.
  • Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and other tools.
  • Experience in developing and operating systems such as Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK stack, Hadoop, and others.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend best practices based on industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise on complex automation and functional issues.
  • Be flexible and adapt to business needs in terms of working hours and provide emergency support when required.
