Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the development of a new healthcare product aimed at simplifying Medicare and Medicaid processes for the US healthcare industry. This individual will collaborate closely with the Product Owner to create a product that addresses the challenges in the US healthcare market using innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and processes, including sprint planning, sprint demo, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Expertise in using Jira, with at least 5 projects handled on Jira.
  • Break down complex features into manageable user stories and tasks, ensuring they are well-defined and actionable for the development team.
Project Management
  • Lead a team consisting of Technical Solution Architects, UX Designers, Developers, QA, and others to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
  • Excellent focus on details and data-driven project management.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Product Owner and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product goals.
Performance Metrics
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring product success and guiding future strategy.
Product Roadmap and Feature Backlog
  • Work with the Product Owner to develop a product roadmap and feature backlog, aligning with the strategic goals of the product.
  • Support requirement gathering process of a new healthcare product, ensuring it addresses market needs while complying with healthcare regulations.
Requirement Gathering
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to gather and analyze product requirements.
  • Engage in as-is process mapping and design to-be process flows for optimal product functionality and user experience.
  • Define various user personas, including senior patients, healthcare providers, and healthcare brokers, physicians, and nurse practitioners, to ensure the product aligns with their needs and expectations.
Healthcare Industry Research
  • Conduct in-depth research into US healthcare industry challenges and opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify unmet needs, competitor analysis, and market opportunities in the healthcare sector.
AI Usage
  • We are a AI-driven team.
  • The candidate should already be actively using tools like ChatGPT to increase the quality and speed of all deliverables.
Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent degree, with a mandatory experience of working for US healthcare industry and products.
  • Experience in project management, especially in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to develop product roadmaps and manage feature backlogs.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in a business context.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 of those years specifically in a Business Analyst role.
Must-Have Skills
  • Project Management: Experience in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Agile Methodology: Excellence in Agile practices and principles, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment and drive the team to adopt Agile practices.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and provide solutions to business challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
  • Leadership skills: Should have worked as Project Manager accountable for timelines and quality of deliverables for at least one full product development cycle for a new product. Should be able to motivate the team towards a common goal.
  • Technical Background: Knowledge of software development challenges, which can help in understanding technical constraints and possibilities.
  • Industry Certifications: Certifications like CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) can be advantageous.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Business Analysis Expertise: Strong skills in business requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and the U.S. healthcare system (Medicare and Medicaid).
