Job Title: Estimator

About the Role:

A professional estimator is responsible for managing costs associated with construction projects. This involves cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration to ensure accurate financial outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Study project scope in accordance with design requirements.
  • Validate technical specifications received from the design team.
  • Optimize specifications without compromising client expectations.
  • Verify Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and supporting documentation.
  • Present BOQs and proposed solutions to management for approval.
  • Review and verify request for payment (RA) bills and final invoices.
  • Prepare amendments as necessary.
  • Validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices.
  • Submit alternative budget options considering various solutions to actual design.
  • Explore new products and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Present different optimization options in budgets.
  • Ensure timely completion of budget requirements within given deadlines.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management's requirements.
