Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Database Migration Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end database migration lifecycle across assessment, planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization.

  • Develop and implement migration strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful migrations with minimal downtime and seamless delivery.
  • Design, plan, and execute Oracle database migrations using various tools and technologies, such as Rubrik, RMAN, and OEM.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure smooth migration with minimal business disruption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in multi-cloud, Exadata, and ExaCC environments.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) implementation and management, and data purging, retention policies, and compliance for regulated environments.

Benefits:

This is a contract role, with a duration of 6 months. You will work from Bengaluru or Hyderabad, depending on your preference.
