As a strategic cargo manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of ODC shipments. This involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Vessel & Booking Coordination:

  • Ensure timely allocation of bookings in the EBMS system and with carriers.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to secure space, including feeder service requirements when necessary.

Inventory & Equipment Management:

  • Coordinate with inventory and MNR teams for container allocation, including arranging Empty Container and CSC certificates as per carrier requirements.
  • Optimize container inventory planning to meet customer demands and minimize turnaround time.

Customer Communication:

  • Provide customers with updated vessel schedules based on cargo readiness.
  • Drive efficient communication with customers regarding container pickup status, required documentation, and compliance with List & VGM cut-offs.
