Job Title: Software Development Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services that drive our supply chain platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems and various services.
  • Design and implement data models and database schemas to support application features
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications for our supply chain software products
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
  • Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and security

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java and NoSQL-based databases.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and SQL and/or NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with building significant modules or sub-modules from scratch.
  • Management experience with a team of at least 3 developers.
  • RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) skills.
  • Agile development methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment familiarity.
  • Version control system expertise such as Git.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
