Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge data warehousing solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with DW/BI leads to understand ETL pipeline development requirements, identify gaps in existing pipelines, and resolve them. You will also collaborate with businesses to understand reporting needs and develop a data model to fulfill those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Modern Data Warehouses: Design and implement data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with DW/BI leads to understand ETL pipeline development requirements and collaborate with businesses to understand reporting needs.
  • Triage Issues: Identify gaps in existing pipelines and resolve them.
  • Drive Technical Discussions: Drive technical discussions with client architects and team members to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • IT Experience: At least 6 years of IT experience and 3 years of experience in data warehousing/ETL projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake security, Snowflake SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects. They should also have hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowsight, and Snowflake connectors.

  • Snowflake/Azure Data Factory/PySpark.
