Job Summary

The role of Financial Transaction Analyst involves meticulous examination and systematic control of financial data, focusing on recording, verifying, and reconciling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess end-to-end knowledge of the record to report process and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities
  • Analysis of variables influencing system performance and output across different sectors
  • Logging and systematic control of financial transactions, including collection, recording, verification, and reconciliation of financial data
  • Management of hierarchies within the general ledger and oversight of cost centers
  • Control and logging of physical records and financial activities related to fixed assets for book and tax purposes
  • Preparation of financial reports and analyses
  • Monitoring and tracking periodic revenue and expenses
  • Tracking POs and invoices
  • Daily posting of Bank statements
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, re-classifications, adjustments, payroll, and clearing entries as per timelines
  • Performing month-end close activities in accordance with agreed close calendars
  • Bank reconciliation statement
  • Cash flow statement preparation
  • Balance sheet review and reconciliation
  • Quarterly inter-company processes management and ensuring variations are within threshold limits
  • Processing addition/disposal/retirement requests received for fixed assets
  • Statutory analysis preparation to support monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables
  • Budgets and forecasts preparation as per client organization policies and providing variance analysis as per frequency
