Job Title

General Manager – Quantity Survey

  • Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors across multiple projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, bill of quantities, and budgets for residential and commercial projects.
  • Oversee tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify areas for savings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and contractual standards.
  • Collaborate closely with design, procurement, project management, and finance teams to achieve project goals.
  • Provide timely management information reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize quantity surveying processes, systems, and best practices for scale.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying; master's preferred.

10+ years of experience in quantity surveying with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.

Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.

Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in quantity surveying software/tools, Microsoft Excel, and project management systems.
