Project Overview:
- We are seeking a Disaster Risk Management Specialist to join our Project Management Unit for Technical Support and Implementation of Comprehensive Disaster Planning, Mitigation, Management, and Response for Disaster Management, Relief, and Rehabilitation Department, Government of Maharashtra.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Team Leader and other team members in overall coordination and day-to-day execution of the project.
- Coordinate with different departments, agencies, and organizations involved in disaster management within the district.
- Maintain effective communication channels, facilitate regular meetings and consultations, and promote partnerships to enhance overall resilience of the district.
- Undertake extensive research, report preparation, and activities related to disaster preparedness and mitigation.
