Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ILM/Archiving Solution Architect to lead our data management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data archiving strategies across complex SAP landscapes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute retention management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage system decommissioning projects to optimize storage capacity and minimize risks.
  • Analyze the impact of archiving on business processes and system performance.
  • Implement standard and custom archive objects to improve data integrity and accessibility.
  • Design and manage archive metadata and file handling systems.
  • Conduct assessments to identify opportunities for data volume management (DVM) and define archiving strategies.
  • Troubleshoot archiving issues and provide solutions for open item closures.
  • Integrate nearline storage solutions with archive servers and SAP systems.
  • Utilize advanced tools like NAA Archive Add-on and Content Link for enhanced archiving capabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with SAP ILM Legal Hold Case Management and ILM Blocking in S/4HANA environments.
  • Proven expertise in SAP Data Volume Management (DVM), including at least 1 year in an S/4HANA environment.
