We are seeking an innovative Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and production of next-generation storage products.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep knowledge of storage technologies, capable of making architectural trade-offs to optimize performance and power across diverse use cases.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams in architecture, hardware, validation, and software services to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize controller firmware for enterprise-class storage solutions.
  • Work on firmware development with a strong focus on NAND Flash technologies (SLC, TLC, QLC).
  • Contribute to modeling efforts for storage products from concept through production.
  • Support device characterization, benchmarking, and performance optimization.
  • Closely collaborate with architecture, hardware, validation, and software teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex firmware issues across multiple layers.
  • Ensure best practices by working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in embedded firmware development, preferably in the storage domain (SSD/HDD).
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and assembly programming.
  • Hands-on experience with storage interfaces: PCIe/NVMe, AHCI, SATA, SAS, UFS, eMMC.
  • Proven experience with firmware design, customization, and support.
  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking ability with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Prior exposure to device drivers is desirable.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
