Job Title: Data Modeling Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeling Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reusable data models using dbt (Data Build Tool) and version control tools like Git.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes. They will also have experience with cloud data warehouses, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

As a Data Modeling Specialist, you will work closely with data engineers to ingest and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and documentation across all datasets.

You will also collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights using Looker and Domo tools.

In this role, you will implement and maintain data testing frameworks to validate pipeline integrity and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.

Maintaining CI/CD pipelines for analytics codebases is another key responsibility of this position.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
