Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in automation to design, develop and maintain robust frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and hands-on experience in banking payments systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Framework Development: Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.
  • Test Scripting: Write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying OOP principles.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, business analysts and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Payment Application Testing: Perform functional, regression and integration testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes.
  • Defect Analysis: Analyse test results, identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Automated Test Suites: Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile Ceremonies: Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine is desirable.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
