Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructure for customers. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex network infrastructure supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on multi-vendor networks.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network implementation, including change approval processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members to ensure high-quality services and solutions for customers.
  • Lead project strategy definition and manage deliverables for complex customer projects.
  • Perform advanced analysis of incidents and serve as escalation engineer for internal organizations and clients.
  • Provide fourth-level support for Operations as part of the Incident and Problem Management Process.
  • Create processes for engineers to follow for successful solution delivery.
  • Lead and own projects with a small team of engineers, driving them to successful conclusions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN are highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN is also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN is beneficial.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential for daily interactions with native and non-native English speakers.
