Civil Infrastructure Project Lead

The role of a Civil Infrastructure Project Lead involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects. This includes constructing infrastructure in challenging terrain, such as marshy areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil works for industrial projects in marshy areas, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
    • Develop and monitor project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets to ensure optimal results.
  • Specialized Construction Activities
    • Oversee pile foundation design and construction, adhering to engineering best practices and site-specific requirements to ensure structural integrity.
    • Manage construction activities in marshy and difficult terrain, implementing soil stabilization and water management techniques to minimize risks.
  • Greenfield Project Expertise
    • Plan and execute civil works for new salt or bromine units, including site development, utility infrastructure, and structural works, ensuring seamless integration with process requirements.
    • Integrate infrastructure planning with process requirements of chemical manufacturing facilities, considering environmental factors and regulatory compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure all civil engineering works comply with relevant codes, environmental norms, and statutory requirements, minimizing liabilities and reputational risks.
    • Liaise with government authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Safety & Environmental Management
    • Incorporate safety and environmental considerations into designs and construction methodologies, prioritizing risk mitigation and employee well-being.
    • Lead hazard identification and risk mitigation measures specific to marshy construction environments, ensuring proactive approaches.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
    • Lead multidisciplinary teams and contractors to deliver project milestones, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
    • Collaborate with process, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams for integrated project execution, promoting cross-functional understanding.
  • Construction Oversight & Quality Assurance
    • Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and progress reviews.
    • Maintain high-quality construction records, facilitating post-project evaluation and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintenance & Infrastructure Upkeep
    • Develop long-term maintenance strategies for civil infrastructure in saline and marshy conditions, ensuring structural longevity and minimizing downtime.
    • Plan periodic inspections and remedial measures for structural upkeep, scheduling ahead of potential issues.
