A Video Editor is responsible for creating professional, high-quality video content for various platforms. This includes editing raw footage, incorporating graphics and music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions, and colour grading to enhance video impact.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically professional proficiency in Premiere Pro and intermediate knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Collaboration with creative, content, and design teams will be essential to deliver engaging, visually polished videos aligned with brand guidelines.
The Video Editor will work on diverse projects including marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials, and branded content. The role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to deliver under tight deadlines, and excellent teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Edit raw footage into professional, high-quality videos for various platforms.
- Incorporate graphics, music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions, and color grading to enhance video impact.
- Collaborate regularly with creative leads, marketers, and motion designers to meet project requirements and brand standards.
- Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines.
- Organize and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow; export videos in required formats.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques, and video technologies.
- Maintain a consistent style and brand voice across all videos.
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Communication, Animation, or related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years' hands-on experience with professional video editing (portfolio required).
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Solid knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
